Arteta still the right man as the Gunners out powers the Pompey

After the heartbreaking outster from the Europa league, all the Gunners needed so bad was a victory to life the spirit of the entire club and thier fans and they duly grinded out one.
Portsmouth put up a brave showing but Arsenal's Premier League quality ultimately shone through in this FA Cup fifth-round tie. The only negative blip is the injury that mieldfield power Lucas Toriera sustained just fifteen minutes into the match, he was in visible pains as he was taken off on a stretcher and then was replaced by Dani Ceballos.

The Gunners survived some nervy moments to take an undeserved lead into the break at a noisy Fratton Park thanks to Sokratis' well-taken goal in first-half injury time.
Reiss Nelson created the second shortly after the break, taking on his man on the right before delivering for Nketiah to bundle home from close range at (51) minutes.
Arsenal are now in the quarter-finals for the first time in three seasons, with the last-eight draw taking place on Wednesday evening.
