I wonder what anyone was gonna expect when Bill Goldberg made another in-ring return at WWE Super Showdown, another short cameo. Considering the fact that the WWE Universal Champion is now 53 years old and has battled with some heath issues, that Is the best scenario when it comes to bringing him into major events, selling tickes, boosting commercial growth, boosting revenue and making sure a legend's name is around the horizon. Because no matter how you want to put it, Goldberg has done a lot for the wrestling world.
There was no way WWE owner Mick McMahon will let a 53 year old legend to suffer a beat down and probably lose to the Fiend and fall of the spotlight just like that.
The last time Goldberg suffered a beat down was in the match again the Undertaker and what became the outcome, he was concussed, left bruised and almost unconscious as the match was concluded and he was never seen battling in the ring again till he made this return at the super showdown .
The only logical outcome for that match is what we saw and it made sense that Goldberg made light work of the Fiend and became the newly crowned WWE universal championship holder and please don't tell me y'all didn't enjoy that cause I did. As the legend's career gradually comes to a conclusion... He will be gradually used when it comes to high risk matches.
Let us enjoy our legend before of one this youngsters will come and destroy him for us Please. I love Bill Goldberg
